IFTTT is a free service which allows you to pair your favorite apps and enables them to interact with each other. We are excited to share that the EasyControl is now compatible with IFTTT.
IFTTT Integration
The IFTTT platform allows you to link the EasyControl to different smart product or services. Using the “If This, Then That” principle, you can create conditions called “applets”. These applets consist of a trigger (If This, ...) and a corresponding action (..., Then That). IF a trigger occurs in one product or service (e.g. if the temperature rises outside), then IFTTT will execute the corresponding action/s (e.g. then automatically switch the heating off, if it’s been on).
The IFTTT service is only available in English and can be accessed as a mobile App for iOS and Android or via ifttt.com
IFTTT Integration
Use IFTTT to pair your EasyControl thermostat with your favorite apps, services and devices. Allow your smart devices to interact by creating applets of your choice from scratch. When you pair your apps, this will mean that a trigger in one will result in an action in another.
You can also simply choose from several predetermined applets
Step 1: EasyControl app – Pair your Bosch ID to your EasyControl
From your EasyControl app, tap on "External Services" in the menu settings and select "EasyControl Pairing Page". Please login with your Bosch ID (that you created during the installation process of the EasyControl) and follow the onscreen instructions.
Step 2: Complete the EasyControl and IFTTT integration
First you need to set up a free online IFTTT account. Simply download the IFTTT app (App Store/Play Store) or visit the official IFTTT website .
From the IFTTT portal, search for "EasyControl" and connect. You can either select our predefined applets, or create your own customized applet.
Do you want to create your own applet via the IFTTT app?
Tap on the “+” symbol to create a new applet.

OR Do you want to create your own applet via the IFTTT website?
Tap on the grey profile grey symbol then select “Create”.
Tap on the “+” symbol to define a trigger.

Deleting an applet via the IFTTT website
Go to the IFTTT main screen and tap on the profile symbol.
Select “My applets”.
Select the respective applet.
Scroll down and tap the “Delete” button
