Controlling EasyControl with Siri Shortcuts (iOS 13 or higher)
Our Siri Shortcuts integration allows you to use simple voice commands on your Apple device (iOS 13 or higher) to control and tell you the status of your heating. Once you have set up Siri Shortcuts to be used with EasyControl specific actions, you are able to use the voice commands below to prompt Siri to interact with your EasyControl.
Siri Shortcuts Voice Commands
*You can set the exact Voice Command Shortcut sentence according to your preferences. It is also possible to create a new separate Shortcut to always perform one set variable, for example: “Hey Siri, set setpoint temperature of living room to 21 degrees”. The Shortcuts should however be used precisely as it is set when asking Siri to complete the action. Please check out the setup video below for more information.
For Siri Shortcuts to work correctly, it is important that you have first made a successful connection between the EasyControl thermostat and the EasyControl app.
Run the Siri ‘Shortcuts’ app on your iOS device (preinstalled on iOS 13 and higher) and choose to create a new Shortcut by pressing on the ‘+’ icon in the top right corner. Select the EasyControl app and choose which Shortcut action you want to create and then set up the action according to your preference.
Now simply perform the voice commands you have created in Siri Shortcuts, using the exact sentence you have configured during the setup, and you are good to go!
The setup process is now complete!
